Marvel Phase One UNBOXING

The Most Badass Avengers Ever ;)

Marvel’s Phase One Box Set is heeeeere! Click that link if you wanna check it out in all it’s glory on Amazon. Personally, I’m gonna be watching it on my new PlayStation 3 through this beauty. But I’ll stop showing off my toys and get to the meat.

I am not a geek, by any means. But OH MY GOD have I been excited for this! (Seriously, I don’t think you can stuff any more excitement in me, it’s almost gushing out my eyes in the video.)

A little background: I pre-ordered this set BACK IN SEPTEMBER! I was given a free copy of The Avengers on bluray because of the original snafu involving this set’s release. And I STILL bought a second copy. (3D and Digital Copy, yo!)

Anyways, the real goodies involve looking at this set in the video, so I won’t keep you from it. But one thing: the card that I looked at that I couldn’t understand what it was for? Go to BattleOfNewYork.net and put in your code to see some AWESOME FOOTAGE! Including some clips of the Ant-Man footage. Which–honestly–looks crazy awesome! And I am not one who thinks Ant-Man will be an easy movie to conquer.

New iPhone 5 on T-Mobile – UNLIMITED, CONTRACT FREE, AND $70 LESS!

Click the here to get an email when it is available. I’m already on their list. Very exciting!

THE DETAILS

Cost of phone: $99.99 upfront, $20 payments for 24 months. (total cost of phone: $579.99 – $70 less than an unlocked iPhone 5 and even less compared to other big companies).

Cost of NO CONTRACT plan: $70 a month for unlimited EVERYTHING 4G. $60 a month for unlimited EVERYTHING with 2GB of 4G data. $50 a month for unlimited EVERYTHING with 500 MB of 4G data.

^^ As a T-Mobile customer in a 2 year contract, I contacted T-Mobile and they assured me that when I get my iPhone 5, I will be free of my contract. (Hallelujah. I LOVE T-Mobile — I once used 30 gigs of 4G in a month on my Nexus with them — but being in a contract has never been my style.)

How To Think Rich – Good Looks and Popularity

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

In my last How To Think Rich post, I gave you one resource that has helped countless people improve both how they present themselves and how they act around their friends and relationships. This post continues those two lines of thought separately.

The clothes don’t make the man.

The above quote is obviously not the most truthful quote. If you saw a fat, sweaty man wearing leather shoes and a 3-piece suit then obviously this person obviously had enough for at least that outfit. But the fact would remain: he was a FAT, SWEATY man wearing those shoes and 3-piece suit. And that would be cause for you to get a kernel of a doubt in the back of your mind. Maybe this guy isn’t what his clothes are trying to say he is.

If you are rich, you have the bankroll for the personal trainers. The dietitians. The liposuction. Hell, at the most basic level if you care about yourself then you care about your body. No man or woman with true power over others would sacrifice his body to the power of crappy food. And make no mistake: power is more valuable than money. Often, it is power alone that brings a person vast amounts of money.

How To Think Rich – Appearance and Attitude

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

Learning how to look rich–and BE rich–is very different than just giving a person a checklist of clothes to wear and expensive sports cars to buy. If it were, every minimum wage post office worker who sold their house to buy an expensive Corvette would instantly be a Donald Trump equivalent.

Obviously, that is not the case.

The only real way to effect permanent change for yourself and those around you is to not simply change the clothes you wear (though that will help), but change the way you THINK about the clothes you wear–among other things. With a little change, you can turn a shift of snow into a raging avalanche of positive change.

Getting The Perfect Body

Perfect Human

What is the perfect guy? What is the perfect girl? Depending on who you ask, there are many different definitions of that certain someone we are looking for to be our own personal Adonis or Madonna (no, not the singer that BARELY made out with Britney Spears that one time). And if we’re looking for that someone to be our future boyfriend/girlfriend, you can damn well be sure that EVERYONE is looking for them. The same can be said for future employers. And future friends.

Now ask yourself: when you see that person in your mind, what do you see? Do you see a guy with a beer gut? A girl with a beer gut? No, I’d hedge my bets that women see a broad shouldered man who’s nice and has lots of muscles. And men? We want someone who can fill out a dress well and treat us like the Alpha Males we know we are.

If we hold our imaginary spouses to such high standards, why then don’t we hold ourselves to those same standards? And if we did, what could we do to make sure we live up to those expectations?
